About Me

Why did I choose Wesco?

Growing up my mom worked for wesco, and she would take me to bring your kid to work day. I always told her that I wanted to work for wesco.

What were your first impressions of Wesco?

I was nervous because it was my first job that wasn't babysitting. But everyone was so nice, and I had a great training team.

Year 1

Food Service Associate @ Wesco 14

I completed my Food Service Level 1 Training.  

Year 2

I completed Basic Food Safety 

Year 3

Started to expand knowledge of the positions in the store.

I became fully crossed trained on till and was able to cover.

I completed Sales Level 1 Training, Propane Training, and Serv Safe I also became the Deli Operations Associate

Year 7

I had the opurtunity to cover a deli shift in Grand Haven. I managed the deli at our store until we got a new Deli Manager.

Year 8

I started learning Bakery.

Year 9

I helped out at Rothbury for the Electric Forest and completed my Level 1 Bakery Associate Training.

Year 10

Helped covered Grand Haven for their work christmas party. 

Year 11

This year we started satellite production of deli food for Wesco 43

Year 12

I helped out at Wesco 17 every wednesday for a month.

Year 13

I became Head baker!

Started doing theme days for example we did unicorn day.. I also went and covered 3rd shift for a week at Wesco 46

Year 15

Adjusted production for Covid19 and I bought a cool mask to wear for paczki day.

Looking Back

What would I want someone just starting out to know?

Asking for help isn't showing weakness, it is a way to improve.

Failures show you where you have room to improve.

...and don't make the little things seam bigger than they are.
