About Me

Why did I choose Wesco?

College Reimbursement

What were your first impressions of Wesco?

Fast paced and fun because that's what I like. I like a challenge.

Year 1

Sales Associate @ Wesco 24

Worked overnights, mornings, afternoons. Had pizza Stromboli's that I would make and prep overnight if needed. I worked 3 Jobs this year while attending college. This job took priority over the others.

Year 2

Sales Associate @ Wesco 24

Continued to go to college, worked just Wesco at this point, continued to learn and help fill in when needed.

Year 3-6

Sales Associate @ Wesco 24

We all learned to order our own sections in the store and were responsible for them. Learned how to do paperwork, liquor order, vendors, putting truck away, etc. Pretty much I knew how to clean everything in the store and was able to fill in where needed.

Year 7-15

Head Baker @ Wesco 24

New store opens, I transferred roles to become the Head Baker. I made donuts and had the opportunity to help grow this department. I continued to grow the department, meet the needs and sales of the customers, focused on compliance and efficiency. We had to complete weekly bakery audits ourselves back then, they were called WISCA.

Year 16-19

Food Service Associate @ Wesco 24

After 8 years of Paczki Day's and Special donut days, I transferred to part-time Cold Deli production along with shifts in the C-store. Helping with truck, Dax Counts and filling the cold case with yummy product.

Year 20

Food Service Operations Associate @ Wesco 24

Went back to full-time in the Deli and took over as Food Service Operations Associate. I continued to increase sales, as well as helping out with training new bakery staff. I actually got to jump back to bakery just in time to relive a Paczki Day in 2021.

Looking Back

What would I want someone just starting out to know?

Your hard work will be beneficial
